Gold Coast Youth Service works with young people aged 12 to 25 years who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We provide externally supported accommodation for up to 12 months and provide education including independent living skills; an outreach youth work team to help young people with accommodation, legal matters, health issues, information regarding the various youth services available, advocacy and referral as well as longer term case management.

The Gold Coast Youth Service runs the following programs

  • Drink Safe Precinct (DSP)
  • Resource and Development Service (RADS)
  • Youth Accommodation Program (YAP)
  • Youth Work Team (YWT)

The Gold Coast SUNS are proud supporters of Gold Coast Youth Service and actively engage in all our community events.

The Gold Coast SUNS work closely with Gold Coast Youth Service to address youth homelessness and raise awareness of this issue. Each year they participate in many programs throughout the Gold Coast including the White Christmas Charity Event, Youth Homelessness Matters Day, Gold Coast Homeless Connect and additional player visits to community events. Their support has also included donations of their time, game tickets, merchandise and help, to support Gold Coast Homeless Connect with the placement of community donation bins at their games and volunteering on the day.

In fact, at the recent Gold Coast Homeless Connect Day, the Gold Coast SUNS helped to cook over 1000 meals for disadvantaged and homeless people!

A fun day out at Dreamworld for Face Your Fears Day with Gold Coast Suns!

Thank you to the Gold Coast SUNS for our corporate partnership and all your hard work!
